"We barely talk anymore without it turning into an argument- it feels like we’re drifting further apart every day."

"I miss the way we used to connect, but I don’t know how to get back to that place again."

I GET IT

Unresolved issues can leave you feeling lonely and disconnected.

Are you tired of having the same arguments over and over? Do you feel like your partner just doesn’t understand you anymore? The relationship you once cherished may now feel distant or stuck in conflict.

Maybe it’s the stress of life piling up, making it harder to connect. Or past wounds, betrayals, unmet needs, or miscommunications still linger between you.

This isn’t the relationship you envisioned for yourself.

These struggles can leave you feeling lonely, frustrated, or uncertain about the future of your relationship.

You might notice it’s harder to communicate, harder to trust, or even harder to feel safe being vulnerable with one another.

Left unresolved, these patterns can impact every part of your life- your mood, your family, and your overall well-being.

Couples therapy can help you rebuild connection and heal together.

Couples therapy can help you rebuild trust, improve communication, and strengthen your emotional connection.

Together, we’ll identify what’s keeping you stuck and create a new way forward.

You and your partner will have a space to speak openly, heal past wounds, and rediscover the love and respect that brought you together.

Through our work, you can:

  • Learn tools to communicate more effectively and reduce conflict.

  • Rebuild trust and safety after past hurts.

  • Strengthen emotional and physical intimacy in your relationship.

  • Develop a deeper understanding of each other’s needs and how to meet them.

You don’t have to keep struggling in your relationship. With the right support, healing and reconnection are possible.

Hi, I'm Smadar Salzman.

Let me help you get unstuck from painful dynamics that leave you feeling disconnected and alone.

My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices like Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Relational Life Therapy, PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy) and other attachment-based strategies.

We’ll work together to uncover the root causes of your challenges and replace harmful cycles with patterns of connection, understanding, and mutual care.

Couples come to me looking for a therapist who can quickly identify complex relational dynamics without blame, because therapy should be a place where you feel safe and understood.

I'll help you hear each other better and move past defensiveness so you can rekindle that spark that may feel like a distant memory.

FAQS ABOUT COUPLES THERAPY:

What can we expect in couples therapy sessions?

Sessions are a safe space for both of you to express your thoughts and emotions. We’ll focus on understanding your dynamic, uncovering patterns, and building tools for healthier communication and connection.

How long will we need to be in therapy?

Every couple’s journey is unique. Some couples see progress in a few months, while others may choose to work together longer for deeper healing.

Will you take sides in our sessions?

No. My role is to support both partners equally, helping you understand each other better and work together to resolve issues.

What if my partner is hesitant to come to therapy?

It’s common for one partner to feel unsure about therapy. In our first session, I create a welcoming environment and explain how the process can benefit both of you.

Is online therapy effective for couples?

Yes, Telehealth offers the same benefits as in-person therapy while allowing you to work on your relationship from the comfort of your home.

Can therapy help us if we’re considering separation?

Absolutely. Therapy can provide clarity about the best path forward, whether that’s healing the relationship or separating with mutual respect and understanding.
